Product Review: Lifeline USA / Jungle Gym
Apr 17th
You may recall about a month ago I announced that Angry Trainer Fitness had partnered with Lifeline USA , a brand that I strongly believe reflects our core values at ATF.
Lifeline has a whole range of gear for you to check out, but today I want to talk to you about just one product – the Jungle Gym XT. Truth be told, this product was the catalyst for my wanting to be involved with the company in the first place. You probably know that I’m a HUGE fan of suspension training and have referenced it here on the site numerous times before. More >

Short Circuits: The Basement Workout (PODCAST)
Dec 12th
Hey everyone – time for something a little different here at Angry Trainer Fitness!
As you know we’re always listening to your comments and one of the notes we receive constantly is ‘can we have more exercise demonstrations’ on the site!
Trust me, I know where you’re coming from. It’s very hard to write a description of an exercise – and for all of you out there to visualize the movements. With that in mind we will be running a lot more video in the New Year – and in fact have a rather exciting new partnership to announce very soon on More >
Get With The Program: The 9-2-5 Workout
Nov 9th
How are you all doing? I hope you’re successfully reaping the benefits of your current exercise program – but if you’re not, here’s another new program you might want to try!
The 9-2-5 Workout is a program comprised of 9 exercises, with 2 sets of 5 reps for each. Now before you ask why just 5 reps, take a look at the structure of the exercises. Each successive group of 3 movements work the same bodypart, so in reality, you’ll be performing 15 reps.
The key is to move through all 3 exercises nonstop, break for 15 seconds, then hit the next More >

One of the questions I’m asked all the time is “How can I increase my speed”. Well when you guys ask I do my best to answer – so today’s workout is all about helping you increase your athletic prowess. It’s called The Cheetah Workout – and in case you didn’t know, the cheetah is the world’s fastest land animal. It explodes out of the gate and hits at top speed of 65 mph in just 4 seconds! That’s power!
But let me make one thing clear from the start – you can work hard, or you can work long, but More >
Top 10: 60 Second Exercises
Oct 16th
It’s Top 10 time again – and this time around I’m giving you a list of my top 10 60 Second Exercises.
Most people go to the gym and count reps and sets as a way to gauge their fitness levels. But more and more I’ve been seeing trainees walking around with timers on their upper arms. So what are they doing?
Turns out they’re timing their sets, instead of counting reps. It’s simple really, just program your timer for 20, 30 or 60 seconds – and go! When the timer beeps, you’re done. But not for long, because when it beeps again More >
