Big Waistlines = Big Money
May 10th
By now you’ve likely heard the latest projections for future US obesity rates. In 2030, some are speculating that nearly 42% of the population will be obese.
The shocking stats have been all over the news and social media and got a lot of people talking. But when I read Jack Cafferty’s CNN blog I felt that I needed to add my two Angry cents. Why – because Jack ended his post with this question – “Where is the U.S. headed if 42% of us are obese by 2030?”
Well, I have a few ideas where we’ll be as a nation – and More >
The Feeding Tube Diet – Seriously?!?

In a million years when future civilizations or species look back on “the humans” of the 21st century, I just know they’ll be shaking their heads and saying “they did it to themselves”. We are an outrageously idiotic bunch let me tell you.

Today I read on The Huffington Post l about this latest diet craze that is ‘catching on’ at a frightening rate. More >

Can You ‘Catch’ Anorexia?
Mar 8th
You may recall about a week ago I posted a question here on the site titled Should We Regulate How Much Models Weigh?
There were a range of answers to the question with some of you saying that the fashion industry is responsible for setting healthy examples and that stick thin models are bad for society and promote eating disorders.
And guess what – it appears that some of you may just be right. According to a new study that followed 3,000 women in Europe and the UK, anorexia is a socially transmitted illness. Researchers at the London School of Economics and More >

It’s that time of the week again and this is a chat I’m really excited about!
