Dec 31st
You know 2011 has been quite a year for Angry Trainer Fitness. I’ve made thousands of new friends and the response to what we share has been overwhelmingly positive. For that I thank you all sincerely. And I promise 2012 will be even better.
As you know here on the site I write a different Top 10 each week – they’re one of the most popular features here at ATF. So to finish out the year I thought I’d share ten of my favorites from the last 12 months (although a couple are from the tail end of 2010 too!)
I’ve written More >

Ask Alfonso: How Do I Get My Butt Back?
Dec 30th
Hi Alfonso,
I am in my 30s, 160 cm tall and 55 kg. The gyms where I live are quite expensive and I tried to make it there a few times but had to stop a few months ago.
My main concern is having a good shaped butt! I need to lift it up, enhance its shape, and ENLARGE its size without losing weight. I have a bar, 3 kg dumbbell and a gym ball. What kind of exercises can I do at home for a sexy bubble butt? How many days a week shall I exercise? What shall I More >
2012 Countdown Day 4: Consistency
Dec 29th
It’s time for the fourth installment of our 2012 Countdown – designed to help you set and reach your New Years goals.
So far we’ve talked about the importance of giving yourself an assessment, setting realistic goals and yesterday, I discussed the need to select the right exercises to match your goals. Lets assume you’ve got that all covered. So what’s next on your checklist to success?
Simple. One of the single most important factors when it comes to achieving program success is Consistency.
Most people are horribly inconsistent with not just their exercise program, but also how well they eat. In fact More >
Get With The Program: The Back To Basics Workout!
Dec 29th
Hi everyone! I have to tell you that I’m super stoked – yes I did just use that word! Why? Many of you have asked for ‘real time’ workout videos and guess what? We’ve heard you loud and clear.
Since we launched Angry Trainer Fitness, most of my signature workouts have been in written form – which has been a bit confusing for many of you who weren’t familiar with the exercises I was outlining. You let us know and we’ve taken action. So from now on – we will only post workout videos on the site – not written workouts! More >
2012 Countdown Day 3: Exercise Selection
Dec 28th
It’s time for our third post in my 2012 Countdown – where I try to help you all stick to your New Year’s health and fitness resolutions.
Today I’m talking about the importance of exercise selection – basically picking the right exercises to match your particular goals. The sad fact is that many of you keep going around in circles because you keep exercising the same way. That doesn’t make much sense does it? You have to start viewing exercise for what it really is – a stimulus to produce change and adaptation. Your body will adjust to what you’re asking of More >
Ask Alfonso: Janet, Oprah And The Yo Yo Weight Battle!
Dec 28th
Hello Alfonso!
I was watching TV and saw that Janet Jackson is the new spokesperson for NutriSystem.
I was thinking back on her career and realized she has had many ups and downs in terms of bodyweight and dieting. When she is in good shape, she looks amazing. She isn’t just skinny but has muscle tone, however she tends to yo-yo a lot. Oprah is another celebrity who has had the same issues with weight fluctuations.
What is your opinion on their fluctuations and what advice would you give them so they wouldn’t have to keep on this roller coaster?

2012 Countdown Day 2: Set Your Goals
Dec 27th
Yesterday I began a series of 6 posts designed to help you reach success with your New Year’s resolutions – and I began by suggesting that you give yourself an honest fitness assessment to gauge where your strengths and weaknesses currently lie.
Today we’re talking about another common mistake many people make – failure to set realistic goals. I’ve talked about this before here at Angry Trainer Fitness, but it’s a message that definitely bears repeating. It’s nice to say what you want to achieve, but how exactly do you plan on getting there?
I say realistic, because most people think about what More >
